At 1.40pm the Advertiser found there was a funeral taking place, with a crowd of up to several hundred people waiting on the pavements.

A number of police officers and vehicles were in attendance, with two stood outside the entrance to the church, two outside the entrance to the primary school, a van opposite and a police car parked on the gyratory exit to Dunchurch Road.

At the time of publishing 2pm, a resident told the Advertiser that there are now around 10 police officers blocking the gyratory exit to Dunchurch Road to instruct traffic not to continue.

Warwickshire Police has been approached for comment.
