However, he has now gone one step further to ensure that people get the support they need.

He is offering one free hypnotherapy session each week to anyone who works for the NHS or has a job working in care.

Those key workers are putting themselves at risk by continuing to work and are potentially dealing with traumatic situations, such as losing patients. In addition, Daniel has set up two free Facebook groups.

The first, called The Self-Care Club, is what Daniel calls 'a positive, supportive online space for people to connect, share their self-care tips, chat and support each other through these challenging times'.

The second group, called Mentalk, is for men to join and connect, chat, learn, share and grow.

With 75 per cent of suicide victims being male, Daniel says he is very aware that the current situation may exacerbate stress, anxiety and depression in men.

Daniel, who is 35 and from Warwick, said: “These are unprecedented times and I decided that I just have to do my bit to help others.

"That is why I’m offering a free hypnotherapy session each week to NHS staff and care workers.

"They are on the frontline, caring for vulnerable people, putting themselves at risk, and possibly dealing with some quite traumatic situations.

"The free hypnotherapy session will focus on relaxation, but I will also work with each person during their session to help them develop coping strategies to lessen any stress or anxiety they are feeling.

"Everyone will also receive a complimentary hypnotherapy MP3 that they can listen to at home to keep them feeling as calm as possible during these difficult times.”

The free hypnotherapy sessions can take place via Skype, Facetime or Zoom, and be at a time to suit the individual. Please email Daniel at [email protected] for further details.
