Nicola, 53, is a mentor for young girls experiencing peer pressure, cyberbullying and other anxieties. She has worked with children for thirty years, and in 2019 founded her empowerment workshops to help girls navigate the uncertainties and difficulties they face.

During lockdown, Nicola invested her energy into writing her book, My Life My Happiness – a book that shares her knowledge and experience in a fun, informative, and creative way.

The self-care journal takes girls on a week-by-week journey, learning all the tools and techniques that Nicola provides in her workshops – tips and exercises that enable young girls to really take control of their own well-being and destiny.

Having faced hardship in her own childhood, Nicola said: “I had to reach these girls, knowing how desperate some of them are."

Her exercises lead directly to improved mental and emotional health.

Many girls and their parents have written testimonials thanking Nicola for her guidance and help.

“It’s all about putting the power back into their hands," said Nicola.

"And showing them that they can actually be in control of their own happiness.”

With this book, Nicola said she wants to bring these tools to a broader audience.

My Life My Happiness is now available on Amazon.
