In the post the council spokesperson also said that if the littering continues they may have to close the public toilets.
The post said: "This is what our cleaners have been met with when arriving at our public toilets recently - quite frankly, it's disgusting.
"So that people can make proper use of our parks and open spaces, we have opened our public toilets and increased the cleaning frequency.

"If this continues, we will have no option but to close toilets in public spaces where this is happening so we can be sure that the cleaners are able to carry out their work safely - and for the benefit of the public who actually need to use these facilities.
"We know it's not everyone and the majority of people are responsible - but we are pleading to everyone: please clean up after yourselves. If you can bring the food and drink with you, you can take it home or to the nearest bin that isn't full.
"If you do notice a bin that is full, you can report it to us here: https://www.warwickdc.gov.uk/reportstreetcleaninglitterbin

"So please - enjoy the parks, enjoy your exercise and safely distanced picnics with others but help us maintain our green spaces, public toilets and other public conveniences and be responsible for your own waste - for the safety of our staff and for the enjoyment of others."
