Rugby Art Gallery and Museum is asking for Rugbeians to send in words, photos, videos and artwork as they record our reaction to the Covid-19 outbreak for future generations.

A spokesperson said: "Few of us has ever lived in a time like this. Our lives, families and community have been turned upside down by the coronavirus outbreak.

"Imagine explaining it to someone in 20 years’ time – they’d never believe you.

"Just how much change there has been, how it made us all feel, how much of our lives shifted to social media whilst others work to protect us.

"This really is history in the making. That’s why we’d like you to capture this extraordinary time for future generations to look back on.

"Let’s keep a diary. Use words, pictures, photos, audio or video – and send it to us.

"Let us know how you’re feeling. Tell us about your community heroes and what you are doing to help. What is life like working from home or home-schooling your children.

"We’ll share it with others now – and keep it for a future social history exhibition."
