Rugby pupil wins MP's Christmas card competition with her snowman design

Rugby MP Mark Pawsey has revealed the winner of his 2019 design a Christmas card competition.

This year picking a winner from the over 100 entries proved tough, but Mr Pawsey chose the picture designed by 10-year-old Tilly Lee from Paddox Primary School.

Tilly’s design features a snowman formed by a young girl and her dog.

Mr Pawsey’s card is being sent out throughout the constituency this year.

Alongside her design being used for the Christmas card, Tilly and her family will visit Parliament.

As part of their visit they will tour the Palace of Westminster and have Tea on the Terrace with Mr Pawsey.

The runners up were Lennon Martin of Clifton-upon-Dunsmore C of E Primary School, Samuel Finch from Eastlands Primary School and Mia Bodo of Bilton C of E Junior School.

Mr Pawsey said: “I was once again delighted to receive so many wonderful designs from children throughout Rugby and Bulkington. Picking a winner is always really hard, and this year was no exception.”
