A spokesperson said: "Providing full time youth workers and experienced volunteers, the Bradby Club aims to enable young people to make the very best of themselves through a variety of open access evenings and programmes which involve activities such as sport, cooking and specialist informal education on substance misuse and safe relationships.

"The support provided by the Bradby Club for the young people of Rugby is invaluable, and this has been recognised by winning the Pride of Rugby, 2018 and the Queen's Award 2004.

"However the Bradby Club is independent and receives no public funding whatsoever, every pound has to be raised each year."

To get involved with the virtual marathon, you simply need to either run or walk a marathon distance of 26.2 miles, or a half marathon distance of 13.1 miles over the course of seven days or less.
