The company donated $5M from L.O.L. Surprise!™ global sales to start the initiative.

The UK MGAE team is supporting the initiative by localising their efforts and donating critical PPE equipment to medical professionals and facilities around the UK.

More than 10,000 masks and 10,000 goggles have been donated to hospitals, including Warwick Hospital, Milton Keynes University Hospital, Northampton General Hospital NHS Trust, Kettering Hospital, Pinderfields Hospital and Leicester Hospital.

Further donations are planned in the coming weeks, and will include face shields, gloves and an additional 12,000 surgical masks.

Andrew Laughton, UK MD of MGA Entertainment UK, said: “These challenging times call for us all to get involved and do what we can.

"We are working hard to provide vital life-saving PPE throughout the UK and will be raising funds and donating as much PPE as we can to support those on the frontline of this crisis.

“We’re also proud to donate a range of our toys to hospitals– hoping that these will bring smiles and comfort to those children who are in the hospital during this difficult time.”
