Warwick's annual French market has been cancelled due to concerns about coronavirus.

Jamie Walker of CJ's Events Warwickshire, said: "After liaising with French at Home it is with much disappointment that the annual Warwick French Market has been cancelled on Saturday April 4.

"The team behind the wonderful event are unable to cross the Channel for a period of 30 days, which is under constant review by Government, and therefore would be unable to attend.

"It is such a difficult time for everyone, but we are hopeful once things have settled down, we can look at a rescheduled date later this year.

"We hope everyone part of French at Home are well and stay safe during these difficult times and we look forward to seeing them soon."
