A year after integrating Edwards Mortgage solutions with the team at Edward Knight, Peter Edwards have been overwhelmed by the success of the past year.
He has been introduced to many new clients since working with the Regent Street estate agent in Rugby.
Peter said: “I have been introduced to many new clients thanks to being based within the most consistently top performing estate agent in Rugby.
“I have also had returning customers from my previous 15 years within the financial sector, more client referrals than I could have hoped for, and I have also written more mortgages where clients have bought from other estate agents than I had predicted.”
He said looking back he puts the success down to two key areas.
Peter said: “Firstly, I offer ‘whole of market mortgages’, unlike my corporate colleagues on Regent Street that can only advise on a limited panel of lenders, this enables me to offer my clients the best products from a much wider marketplace.
“Also, I do not charge any upfront fees for my services, I simply charge a flat fee of £199 which doesn’t become payable until completion, which I believe to be a very competitive package.
“Secondly, and I feel more importantly, is my transparency when dealing with customers.”
He said trust and integrity are paramount to success in a thriving market town.
“The key factor to my success is building a very strong rapport immediately with my clients, putting them at ease in what is often the biggest financial decision that they will need to make,” added Peter.
“I like to think that my returning customers see me as an old friend rather just another financial adviser.”
