Police appealing for information after armed robbery in Bilton

Police are appealing for witnesses after an armed robbery in Bilton.

The robbery happened at around 5.50am on Sunday morning (November 4) at the One Stop Store in Frobisher Road.

Two offenders - two men - went into the store and stole money and cigarettes.

It is believed one of the offenders was in possession of a handgun although it is not known if it was real or imitation.

One of the offenders is described as black, 5ft 9-10inches tall, stocky build, wearing dark clothing with the hood up and a full face balaclava and gloves.

The second offender is described as black 5ft 7 inches tall, stocky build, wearing dark clothing which had a tick motif on the left hand chest with the hood up and a full balaclava.

Officers are carrying out enquiries and appealing for witnesses.
