RUGBY police attended an oil spillage at the bottom of North Street last night (Tuesday).

Officers were called at around 4.50pm to help deal with the incident.

Rugby Borough Council put an oil lift substance on the road to help removed the oil, which has spread from the bottom of North Street and into Evreux Way.

Warwickshire Police said it is believed to have been caused by a vehicle fault.
