Police charge man with two car key burglaries in Rugby

A 21 year old Rugby man has been charged with two car key burglaries.

Aaron Barr, formerly of Viaduct Close, Rugby, was remanded in custody when he appeared before magistrates in Leamington on Monday this week charged with two counts of burglary, theft of a BMW car and a number of associated driving offences.

The charges relate to car key burglaries in Rotherham Close, Cawston on Monday July 8 when the keys to a black Mini Cooper car were taken and the car driven away, and on Saturday July 13 at Langlands Place, Rugby when a blue BMW 520 Sport was stolen with the keys.

On Friday July 19 the BMW was located in Matlock Close, Rugby.

Barr had been arrested at an address in Keswick Drive on July 20.
