Police hunt after indecent exposure on Grand Union Canal near Watford Gap

A MAN indecently exposed himself on a canal towpath.

A 59-year-old woman was steering a narrowboat along the Grand Union Canal near Watford Gap when a man appeared from behind a tree and exposed himself. He has been described as a white man, aged between 25 and 30, between 5ft 6 ins and 5 ft 8ins tall., with a shaven head and of average build.

He had a pasty complexion, a round face and had tattoos on both ypper arms. He was wearing jogging shorts and short sleeved t-shirt.

A police spokesman said: “Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed this incident or anyone who may recognise the description of this offender.”

The incident happened between 1.15 and 1.45pm on Tuesday last week (March 15).
