Police search for man believed to have fallen in the River Leam in Leamington

A search is under way for a man who is believed to have fallen into the River Leam from a town centre bridge in Leamington.

The man was seen falling from the York Road foot bridge on Satrurday at about 9.22pm.

An immediate search and rescue operation was launched involving the police and fire service but unfortunately, he could not be located.

The search has resumed at first light today with assistance from specialist search officers.
