Police seek witnesses to gang attack in Warwick

POLICE are appealing for witnesses to an unprovoked assault which happened in Warwick last month.

The incident took place in All Saints Road on Wednesday March 21 at around 6.40pm.

An 18-year-old man was walking to his friends house alone along the road when a mixed group of about 15 young people followed him.

Several males from the group began to punch the man causing him to fall to the ground.

While the victim was on the ground the group continued to kick him to the head and body.

The man suffered bruising and swelling to his face, ribs and arm, which required hospital treatment.

Officers investigating the assault are appealing for anyone who was walking past or driving along All Saints Road in Warwick who recalls the incident to contact Det Con Imran Ghouri on 415000, extension 4296, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
