Police up patrols around Kenilworth Greenway following attacks on cyclists
The victims were both academics in the maths department at Warwick University, and the university appealed to police to increase patrols in the wake of the attacks, which happened on Friday October 28.
As a result, both Kenilworth and Warwick Rural East Safer Neighbourhood Teams have conducted high-visibility patrols since the incidents.

Prof Ariel Pacetti was about to cycle over the bridge at around 6pm when the three offenders ran out from behind bushes to try and attack him, but he managed to evade them.
He said he felt lucky to have escaped unharmed.
They then targeted Prof Pacetti’s colleague, Dr Steven Adams, as he was riding back at around 6.45pm.
One of the men was able to knock Dr Adams off his bike by punching him in his face.
