A pop up shop is opening its doors in Rugby on Tuesday for people interested in volunteering.

Warwickshire Community and Voluntary Action (WCAVA) will open its doors at the Clock Towers shopping centre, opposite Clintons Cards until Friday, May 29.

Carol Kavanagh, Rugby Volunteer Centre Coordinator, said: “We have been given an empty shop for the half term week which will be filled to the brim with local charities looking for volunteers.

“We have worked very hard on this so if you are thinking about volunteering please come and see us.”

There will be over 20 voluntary groups and charities on hand to talk to potential volunteers. Advice will also be available to local groups, from initial set up to help with funding applications.

The shop will be open between 10am and 4pm each day.
