A new Poundland store has opened in Rugby town centre.

The discount store has taken the place of the 99p shop in High Street following a buy-out last year.

Poundland offers more than 1,000 well-known brands, across 17 shopping categories including food and drink, health and beauty, household, gardening, DIY, Pet, Stationery, Books, DVDs and Toys.

The Clock Towers Poundland branch will remain open.
