Tony Porter, the government’s surveillance camera commissioner, has congratulated Rugby First’s CCTV operation following a recent visit to the town.
He was given a tour of the CCTV control room and a presentation by Rugby First’s operations manager, Patrick Weir MBE. Mr Porter said: “I was really impressed by the set-up at Rugby First and the professionalism of the people that I met on my visit. Undoubtedly the operational model within the Rugby first CCTV control room sets high standards and demonstrates leadership in this field. Thank you to all for a friendly and informative visit.”
Mr Weir said: “We are very proud of our CCTV operation in Rugby and I am delighted that the commissioner and other CCTV managers found the visit productive.”
