Green-minded students Princethorpe College have developed a sell-out clothing range – made from bamboo.

Tyler Newman, 18, and Alex Mantle, 17, (pictured above) have pooled resources and business acumen to design a t-shirt to launch their ‘Rale’ online clothing company.

Budding entrepreneur Tyler hatched the idea on holiday in Hawaii where he first saw the sustainable resource being used to make garments.

He said: “Once I was happy with our funky modern design we went into production with an initial run of 200 units which have virtually sold out. People just love the concept of wearing something comfortable and soft made from a material that is sustainable and entirely environmentally friendly.”
