Traffic is backlogged on the M1, northbound, between junction 16 (Flore) and junction 17 (M45) and lane one of three is blocked.

The AA Traffic News site says reports suggest that the engine has overheated as well as gearbox issues.

There have also been a number of other unrelated breakdowns along this segment of the M1, which occurred earlier this morning.

Traffic is currently estimated to be travelling at 10mph.
