Road crash in Brinklow leaves two men in hospital

TWO men have been taken to hospital after the car they were in collided with a tree in Brinklow.

West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to Coventry Road, Brinklow shortly after 9.40pm yesterday (Wednesday).

A paramedic area support officer, a BASICS emergency doctor and two ambulance crews attended.

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “The driver, a man in his twenties, had chest pain. The passenger side of the car took the brunt of the collision with the tree. The front seat passenger, a man in his twenties had a pelvic injury. Both men were immobilised with the use of spinal boards and neck collars and were taken to University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire.”
