Road safety project could save lives

Children at Abbots Farm Junior School in Rugby have been learning about road safety with a little help from a fun mascot from Cemex. Cemrobot, who is part of the Cemex Schools Education Programme, urged children to ‘stop and think’ as part of the project.

Students also went in the cab of a Cemex cement tanker and learned about safe cycling around large vehicles. They also learned about the ‘blind area’ around the front of large vehicles. Staff at the school it was an enjoyable and educational day.
