Robbers threatened householders with a knife before stealing their car on Monday evening.

Three males with scarves over their faces entered a property in Hallams Close, Brandon at about 11.20pm and threatened the residents with a knife which had been taken from the kitchen.

Two of the robbers carried out an “untidy search” of the premises while the third demanded the keys to an Audi vehicle. The resident pointed at the keys and the robbers made off with phones and a wallet and locked the rear door behind them. The vehicle was then stolen from outside.

The residents were left shaken by the incident, but were not hurt.
