Rugby’s MP visited the town’s Royal Mail Delivery Office to pass on Christmas wishes to the hardworking postmen and women at their busiest time of year.
Mark Pawsey was shown around by the Delivery Office manager, Renato Senatore, and was introduced to the postmen and women who are working hard sorting and delivering mail in the Rugby area during the festive season.
Mr Pawsey said the community owed the workers a debt of gratitude.
“This is the busiest time of year for many of us and in particular for postmen and women. It was great to once again meet the team in Rugby, who are clearly dedicated to delivering a first class Christmas for everyone in the town,” he said.
“Our postal workers do such an important job all year round but I would like to pay tribute to their efforts over the festive period.”
