An autism support group set up by a mum who has two children on the spectrum has won funding from a supermarket.

Rugby Autism Network was awarded £200 from Asda after the public voted for the group in the ‘green token’ scheme.

Fay McSorley, founder and chairman of the network, said: “We hope the money raised will help local autism families through directly supporting parents and carers of those on the spectrum, supporting children on the spectrum along with their siblings and also provide equipment and resources to help local families.”
