Rugby Bridge Club has celebrated after raising £360 for The Myton Hospices.
The funds were generated by players making a donation to Myton and competing in a knock-out-style rubber bridge tournament, with matches taking place in players’ homes.
Club member Terry Bradbury, who organised this year’s event, said: “It is good fun to play a different type of bridge and, at the same time, to raise funds for such a worthy local cause.”
Myton fundraiser, Anita Burrows, said: ‘We really appreciate all the support we receive from the local community.”
