IS THERE someone at your company renowned for going the extra mile?
If one of your team springs to mind, then why not enter them into the Rugby Business Awards?
The Employee of the Year category, sponsored by Nationwide Windows and Doors, rewards the outgoing hard workers who make businesses in Rugby tick.
The winner will be announced at a black tie awards ceremony at Dunchurch Park Hotel on Friday June 1.
Daryl Cashmore, operations director at Rugby-based Nationwide Windows said: “We employ in excess of 150 people and are only too aware that our success is dependant upon our employees and the commitment they have to our business.
“In difficult economic times it has been necessary for us all to look at our businesses in a new light and develop ways of working more efficiently.
“More than ever those individuals who are prepared to go the extra mile, show continuous improvement, think of new and innovative ways to get the job done and show commitment are such an asset to any company.
“A value cannot be put on their worth.”
He added: “These awards are one way of showing how much the employees are valued both by the company they work for as well as their work colleagues.”
The Rugby Business Awards are run by the Advertiser, with main sponsor Cemex.
Tickets cost £40 plus VAT and include a three-course meal and after- dinner entertainment from Bobby Davro. The event is hosted by comedian Ian Richards.
