A fine selection of dogs from Rugby could wow judges at this year’s Crufts.
There are 12 club members from Rugby Dog Club competing in the prestigious show in Birmingham from March 5 to 8.
Three will take part in the obedience championships, one in the England team for the World Cup competition and two in the Midlands Obedience Team.
Others members are showing in breed classes, competing in Heelwork to Music, Freestyle and in the Good Citizen Display Teams.
Daphne Townsend, president of Rugby Dog Training Club, said: “Mary Ray will be performing a Heelwork to Music routine with one of her dogs just before Best in Show on Sunday which is always spectacular to watch.”
