Rugby firefighters attend Willey barn fire

Firefighters from across Warwickshire helped put a fire out at a farm near Rugby.

Warwickshire Fire Control received a call to a barn fire in Willey at 4.10am on Saturday.

Two crews from Rugby initially attended.

Firefighters confirmed that the barn on fire contained a large amount of hay and a tractor.

Throughout the day a number of crews from around the county were called to help deal with the fire.

Crews also received assistance from the farmer utilising a mechanical digger to assist in dragging out the hay.

Firefighters remained there throughout the night.
