Becky Mackintosh, a puppywalker and branch treasurer, said: “This was a fantastic amount of money to collect and we would like to thank everyone for their generosity.

“Lots of people wanted to know more about the charity, as well as wanting to cuddle the puppies and dogs that were there. We would also like to thank the Clock Towers for supporting us as its charity of the year.”

Pictured on the left is Anne Marie Heenan with eight-month-old guide dog puppy Yuri and on the right is Suzanne Poulton with Kay, seven months. Further collections will be held at Rugby Railway Station tomorrow, March 2, from 4-7.30pm, and on Saturday, April 1, at Asda in Rugby.
