A Rugby man was found with seven cocaine packages in a nightclub and has been linked to a further 28 packages after an investigation.
Matthew Mays, 36, of New Street in Rugby, has been charged with two counts of possession with intent to supply class A controlled drugs, namely cocaine. He is due to appear at Nuneaton Magistrates Court on Tuesday June 30.
He was arrested on Saturday May 2, when officers attended the Boutique and the Beach nightclub on High Street in Rugby.
He had been detained by door staff who believed he was using cocaine. He was found in possession of seven individual packages of cocaine, and following further investigations linked to a further 28 packages of cocaine, and drug related paraphernalia.
