Rugby’s Multiple Sclerosis Society is celebrating after being awarded £2,000 from the Lloyds Bank Community Fund.
The public were asked to vote for worthy causes to receive the cash and the MS Society was well supported. The Society assists people living with MS and their families.
Rugby MP Mark Pawsey presented the group with the cheque on Friday, along with the manager of Lloyds Bank in Rugby, James Slater and MS Society chairman Maggie Hamblett.
The funding will go towards setting up a new ‘Family Fun Club’ in the town to support parents and children living with multiple sclerosis.
