Vault has been nominated for two national industry awards for the second year running - including Best Local Venue. – which specialises in the unsigned, under-ground and grass roots music scenes, has taken note of the alternative venue’s achievements over the 12 months – which include attracting some of the most successful up-coming bands from across the UK and USA. The venue has been shortlisted for Best Local Venue of the Year, while Simon Wilson, its promoter, is up for the Promoter of the Year (for dedication to unsigned and new bands).

Callum Orzechowski, owner, said: “The team and I are absolutely delighted to be nominated for the Pure Rawk awards 2014, achieving national recognition for the second year running for what were doing for the live music industry and emerging artists at a grass roots level is extremely humbling.”

Simon Wilson added: “I was totally shocked when I was told that I had been nominated for a Pure Rawk Promotor of the year award, we’re all really passionate at Vault about live music and I really wasn’t expecting to be nominated again this year, I’m really looking forward to making 2014 an awesome year for the live music scene in Rugby, it’s very rewarding being able to bring some awesome live acts to the town and show case some of the midlands best emerging talent”
