Hundreds of runners will pull on their Santa outfits for a charity run around Rugby this weekend.

The Rugby Santa Run 2013 will take place this Sunday (December 15) and organisers are hoping it will be even bigger and better than last year.

Rugby’s first ever Santa Run took place in 2012 and organisers at Rugby and Northampton Athletic Club have this year been joined by the Rotary Club of Rugby to help raise thousands for local charities and community projects.

The event starts at 10am at Rugby Athletics Track at the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Centre in Bruce Williams Way.

The 5km route will take runners up Pytchley Road, Percival Road, Ashlawn Road, Barby Road, Hillmorton Road and back into the park to finish at the track.

Entry for the event is £10 for adults and £5 for children. Discount for families.
