Rugby students grace stage of Her Majesty's Theatre in London

Students from Rugby graced the stage last weekend to perform at London's famous Her Majesty's Theatre in front of an 1,100-strong audience.

Boys and girls from from Stagecoach Performing Arts Rugby performed a medley of show stoppers including hits from Guys n Dolls.

The troupe fine-tuned their routine for several weeks over the spring term and joined 16 Stagecoach schools from across the country for their taste of West End stardom.

Stagecoach Performing Arts Rugby principal, Zoe Bird said: “It was an amazing experience for my students, this being our first event and being at such an iconic venue made it even more special.

Zoe added: “It was well worth all the preparation put in by myself, my staff and of course my students. We can’t wait for next year now.”
