RUGBY’S Wilkinson store is closed today (Wednesday) in preparation for a re-launch.
The store in the Clock Towers is being given a makeover today in preparation for it to reopen at 9am tomorrow (Thursday) when there will be a ribbon cutting ceremony with Rugby World Cup winner and Rugby Lions manager Neil Back.
To celebrate the start of the Rugby World Cup in the home of the sport, the first 20 shoppers through the doors will receive a free rugby ball (9.05am) and throughout the morning, rugby themed cupcakes will be handed out to customers (10am).
There will also be a charity raffle throughout the day with a hamper up for grabs. The lucky winner will also take home an England rugby shirt.
Celebrations will continue on Saturday when a face painter will be in store from 10am to 4pm
The first lucky 100 customers through the doors will also receive a free notepad or pen.
