Young carers were treated to a series of fun filled after school activities.
Triton shower company paid for Rugby children from Warwickshire Young Carers charity’s to take a well earned break.
They were were taken out for a meal at Pizza Hut and had an enjoyable afternoon at Bermuda Adventure Soft Play World in Nuneaton as a reward for the continued assistance they provide for their family members.
The two outings were the latest in a series of entertaining days out sponsored by Nuneaton based Triton Showers for children in the Warwickshire area with more set to take place over the school summer holidays.
Warwickshire Young Carers Project offers support to young carers from across the county. In Rugby, Nuneaton and Bedworth, help is available to youngsters over the age of six and their families, with the remainder of the area currently only taking referrals for children above the age of eight.
Tina Simpson, Marketing Director at Triton Showers said: “We were really happy to play our part in putting smiles on so many faces. By working with children as young as six, Warwickshire Young Carers Project is providing a service which makes a huge difference in the local community and we’ll continue to help in every way possible.”
Deb Bignell, Chief Executive from the Carers Support Service which manages Warwickshire Young Carers’ Project, added: “Although we provide respite breaks for local children of all ages, our youngest group of six to eight year olds really do need Triton’s continued backing.”
