A teenager from Rugby is making waves in the travel and tourism trade including addressing a big conference as one of its speakers.
Lewis Nunn, 15, who launched his own film club aged just 13 and a travel blog at 14, has now moved even further forward in his pursuit of making a name for himself in the travel and tourism industry.
He was recently contacted by The International Travel and Tourism Institute to join its Future You tour around British universities. On October 26 he appeared at Manchester Metropolitan University.
He spoke to students about post-graduate careers in the industry.
Lewis said: “I know! A 15 year old talking to those aged 18 plus about what they can do in the travel and tourism industry.
“I am now regularly doing public speaking and am actually organising a talk in January.”
Earlier this year he was hired to speak at the Family Travel Show at the Olympia Exhibition Centre in London to talk about family holidays and on October 6 appeared on TV for the Cruise Channel.
The Ashlawn School pupil said: “I was thrilled to be able to speak at the Future You conference.
“It’s fantastic that they provide students with a platform into the travel industry.
“When I first started I had no idea about this and I am certain this would have helped me get into the industry much quicker.
“It was hilarious to see university students’ reactions to me, but I am pleased to say they all give a really positive reaction.”
