The ride, on June 5, is in aid of the Bloodwise charity, formally Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research.

This year there are the familiar 10 mile Family and 26 mile Marathon routes, however the third route is now extended to the 65 mile Adventure route created especially for those wishing to challenge themselves that bit more.

The event is again organised by Rugby Round Table and their chairman Chris Booth said: “It’s really exciting for us to be organizing this great event again this year. It’s a brilliant day out for everyone of all ages and all abilities, 10, 26 or the new 65 mile routes all provide a great ride out, and of course raises thousands of pounds for this great charity.”

Emma Jane Jones, regional manager of Bloodwise, said: “Every penny raised helps us in our mission to beat blood cancer, improve the lives of all those affected, and stop people from dying.

“ It is fantastic that so many people attend the event and support our charity. We hope that this year will be well supported and help us in our mission to beat blood cancers.”

Rugby’s local MP Mark Pawsey will again be taking part along with the hundreds of other local people all enjoying a great day out raising money thorugh the sponsorship and the entrance fee.
