Members will join thousands of charity supporters from across the UK to get on their bike and take part in the national fundraising effort and biggest cycling event of its kind, the ‘Rotary Ride’.

People are invited to support their ‘Static Bike Ride’ event at Rugby’s Clock Tower, between 10am and 3pm on Saturday.

The event is taking place in partnership with Tracy McLaren and her team at Anytime Fitness who will be supplying the bike, all to raise money for Prostate Cancer UK.

Ken Ure, president elect of the Rotary Club, said: “Of course it’s not just fathers who are affected by this deadly disease, it is friends, brothers, sons or even your neighbour.

“Prostate cancer, despite being so common, is not well known about and too seldom talked about. Too few men know about the prostate, nor about the symptoms of prostate cancer and the disease.”
