Hearts have been flying off the shelves of a Rugby store to help young people in the town.

Tasty biscuit hearts are being sold at Sainsbury’s, Dunchurch Road, to help Rugby Young Carers Project.

The hearts are hand made by a Sainsbury’s worker and each heart varies in design.

Rachel Fordham, press officer for Sainsbury’s Rugby, said: “They really have been flying off the shelves so I would encourage people to come to the store quickly.

“The young carers project is an excellent cause and we were happy to do something to help.”

The tasty treats are available at the store’s customer service desk.

The young carers project is an independent local charity that tailors the help, support and advice to the individual needs of each young carer.
