Young chefs in Rugby are invited to dust down their aprons and battle it out in the kitchen.
The Rotary Young Chef Competition is a well established competition organised and promite by Rotary International and sponsored by Filippo Berio.
It is a four stage national competition to support and encourage development of cookery skills. Some stages may have more than one round.
This competition aims to encourage young people to learn how to cook a healthy meal, develop food presentation skills, consider food hygiene issues, planning and the ability to cope under pressure.
This competition is open to all students in full time education between ages 11 and 17 on August 31.
Competitors, schools, colleges and organisations can participate in a Rotary district that is outside of their boundary but can only compete in one club/district event.
Enter by visiting Rotary website ribi.org.
The closing date is Monday, November 16.
