Crowds will gather at the Crick Boat Show this weekend.

The three day event promises fun for all the family, with free boat trips, live music, children’s activities, a real ale marquee and a large variety of food and drink stalls.

This year’s headline music acts include ‘2-4-6-8 Motorway’ singer Tom Robinson and leading Blondie cover act Blondied.

It will be open from 10am to 6pm every day except Monday, May 30, when it closes at 5pm. Evening entertainment runs from 7.30pm to 11.30pm on Friday 28 and Saturday 29 May.

Peter Johns, publisher of Waterways World and Show Director, said: “We are looking forward to welcoming people to our 2016 Crick Boat Show - the number one boat show at the heart of the waterway network.

“Whether people are boating enthusiasts, looking to buy boating products and services, or just looking for a great family day out by the water, there’s lots to see and do.”

One-day ticket prices start at £15 per adult and can be bought on the gate. All children aged 16 and under go free and senior citizens and concessions are £13.50.
