Shilton couple tied up in their home by masked gang

A gang of up to six men burst into a house in Shilton and threatened the couple who were in the kitchen.

The men, who had their faces hidden by masks, got into the house through the back door and confronted the husbnad and wife who were in the kitchen.

The gang threatened thems and tied their hands behind their backs before ransacking the house.

They stole a “Longine” watch and a wallet containing a quantity of money and personal documents.

Police would like to hear from anyone who saw anything suspicious or unusual in Church Road, Shilton around 9.30pm – 9.45pm on Friday evening, or anyone who saw a silver or pale blue hatchback car containing up to four males on Church Road, Shilton around the time of the incident.
