The Friends of Oakley Wood and Warwickshire Wildlife Trust organised their third annual woodland crafts day, which included horse logging and woodwork demonstrations and ‘Bio Blitz’ wildlife-themed activities.

Carl Curtis, reserve and community and engagement manager for Warwickshire Wildlife Trust, said: “What a wonderful day. The Bio Blitz activities were very enthusiastically taken up and a lot of people signed up to take part in working parties.”

The next opportunities for volunteering to help improve the wood are on April 23 and 30. For details, visit www.oakleywood.org.uk
