Small change could add up to a big tally

GUESTS staying at the Hilton in Warwick will be encouraged to use their small change to make a big difference to disadvantaged children.

They will be asked to add £1 to their room bill to aid the Hilton in the Community Foundation’s annual fundraising campaign.

The campaign has raised more than £835,000 for children’s charities since its inception in 2004.

Warwick Hilton general manager Ross Mounsey said: “This is a very worthwhile campaign and one that I hope our generous guests will support once again.

“Working together the small change really can add up to make a real difference to children’s lives.”

The charitable foundation has supported Warwickshire good causes in the past, including
Myton Hospice, The Warwick Saturday Club and the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambu-lance.

The fundraising will run in Warwick from now until December and is part of wider campaign involving 128 hotels in 17 countries.

Money raised in the UK and Ireland will be ring-fenced for charities working with disadvantaged children, while the foundation will ensure that every penny raised is distributed to these organisations.
