A young apprentice has received a special award for his talent and effort.

Cortney Bell, a student at Warwickshire College, has been named Apprentice of the Year after his success of the Level 3 motor vehicle course.

The 19-year-old works alongside his dad, Chris, at Bell Motor Services at the Arches Business Centre in Rugby.

Cortney said: “It’s great to receive the award and have my work recognised.

“I passed my exams first time and got some of the highest grades in the college, and I was the only person to do that.”

Proud dad, Chris, said he enjoyed working alongside his son and he was very pleased Cortney had been recognised for his hard work and dedication.
