Punk, ska, ragga and hip hop hybrid Sonic Boom Six bring their entertaining live-wire show to Vault on Friday February 15.

The Manchester five-piece are now in their 11th year and have record deals in the UK, USA and Japan. In that time they’ve played with the likes of Paramore and Reel Big Fish and opened the main stage of the Reading and Leeds Festivals.

With a live show known for “clashing activism and good times”, SB6 play firmly for the dance-floor while retaining enough power and aggression to be an active fixture of the UK’s rock scene. Influences include The Specials, The Streets, and Public Enemy. The band signed with Xtra Mile Recordings in early 2012 and released their self-titled titled album in October last year. Support on the night comes from LaFontaines, Under the Influence and We Are Fiction. For tickets, £8, see
